ENTRIES:
Entries will open on 17 February 2024 and close at 5pm AWST on 28th March 2024. All entries must be made via the Mi Tournament system.
Entry fee: $40 (Members); $50 (Visitors). Entry fee will include 1 range token, plus post round food prior to presentations.
Fees must be paid at the time of entry. Any entrant may withdraw and have his/her entrance fee refunded provided notification of withdrawal is received before the draw is released.
The field is restricted to 124 players. Should entries exceed this number then the Tournament Committee reserves the right to ballot out entries. Balloted entries will receive a refund of entry fees.
Final field will be selected by handicap priority, and we will manage a waitlist for players for last minute withdrawals. In the instance of players with the same handicap in the ballet zone, priority will be given to the player who registered first.
ELIGIBILITY:
The event is open to junior amateur golfers under 18 years of age as at the 5 April 2024.
Entries will be accepted for male golfers with a handicap of 36 or below and female golfers with a handicap of 45 or below.
Australian Junior golfers must have an approved GA handicap. International players must have an approved WHS complaint handicap.
TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE:
The Tournament Committee reserves the right in special circumstances to accept late entries after the closing date.
The Tournament Committee shall comprise of the Tournament Director and members of the Club Match Committee. In the absence of the full committee, such members present at any time may give a decision and any decision shall be deemed the decision of the full Tournament Committee.
The Tournament Committee shall have the sole management and control of the tournament with full power at any time to alter or vary any of the conditions.
EVENT:
The event will be an 18-hole stroke event with 8am shotgun start.
The event will have multiple age divisions in both boys and girls, as well as the overall Champion Boy & Champion Girl.
Players will only be eligible to win one prize and gross prizes will take priority.
The Tournament Committee has the right to refuse the entry of any person for the event without being required to give a reason for doing so.
DRAW:
The draw will be released by 5pm on Monday April 1st, 2024. It will be emailed to participants and made available via a link on our website.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Practice rounds will not be available.
RULES:
The rules of golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and such local rules as are in force on the course over which the tournament is being played. If a dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the Tournament Director whose decision shall be final.
TIES:
In the event of a tie, first gross ties for event will be played on a sudden death basis using holes 1 and 9. All other ties will be decided using the Australian Handicapping System
PROTESTS:
The Tournament Committee’s decision on matters affecting the tournament shall be final. Protests must be made in writing and submitted to the Committee within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the day’s play.

CADDIES:
Caddies are not permitted for this event.
Spectators are expected to maintain a distance of at least 20m between themselves and players. Parents and spectators are permitted to assist in searching for golf balls whilst not providing any other advice or assistance, returning promptly to the required distance after the search is complete.
No motorised carts will be allowed.
DRESS REGULATIONS:

SUNSMART:
It is a player’s responsibility to protect against the sun. We recommend wearing eye protection, hats or caps and the use of sunscreen. In addition, players should ensure they drink ample water to avoid dehydration.
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: The Tournament Director shall be the Gosnells Golf Club Captain or a delegated member of the Gosnells Golf Club Match Committee.
